Streetbike
The Streetbike is one of the few bicycles that boldly breaks traditional design conventions while maintaining a timeless appeal. Originally conceived in 1996, its innovative design immediately stood out against the backdrop of typical bicycle styles of the era.
Crafted from extruded aluminum tubes (EN AW-6005A), CNC-milled, and finished with anodized satin silver, the frame is a true masterpiece of precision and geometry. Unlike most modern production methods, the frame is assembled entirely with titanium screws and brackets rather than welding—a distinctive choice that enhances both durability and aesthetic appeal. This approach also allows for fine surface conditioning and anodizing, achieving a tactile quality not possible with welded aluminum frames.
The Streetbike is equipped with some of the finest components available, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability. In 2007, it was honored with a prestigious second prize at the International Design Awards.
The final version of the Streetbike will not be mass-produced. Only a very limited number may be made in the future, exclusively for collectors and bicycle enthusiasts.
Since its inception, the Streetbike has evolved into a MTB/urban bike concept, prominently featured on this website. Although significant advancements have been made since the project’s early days, the Streetbike remains a testament to the art of industrial design and a truly unique contribution to bicycle design.
